KMC Reopening
Following the announcement by the Government last week of the new Tier system to come into operation at the end of the current national lockdown, we are pleased to announce that the Club will be reopening with effect from Wednesday 2 December. However, due to the nature of the Tier 2 restrictions, together with updated advice from the EPSB, you may only play with one other person from another household or with more than one other person from your own household, up to a maximum of four people from the same household in the Club at any one time.
The booking system will operate as normal from Wednesday 2 December and the same COVID-19 operating instructions as circulated previously continue to apply.

Club closed again
With all London boroughs now in the Tier 2 (high) category of coronavirus restrictions, we have regrettably been required to close the Club once again with immediate effect. As soon as the alert level for Bromley is downgraded to Tier 1 (medium), the Club will be reopened.
Heaters not working
There appears to be a problem with the coin-operated meter that turns on the heating at the club. We hope this will be fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, it might be best to take some warm clothing with you the next time you play.

Reopening of Keston Men’s Club
We are pleased to announce that the snooker club will be reopening on July 31. Prior to this date, we shall be sending out a list of operating rules that will need to be followed once the club is up and running again.
Temporary closure of Keston Men’s Club
We have been advised by the trustees that Keston Village Hall will be closed immediately until the end of April. The committee has agreed that we should follow suit and therefore the Club will be closed until further notice. The key safe code will also be changed.
As soon as the new restrictions that have been announced by the government are lifted, the Club will be reopened.
2019 AGM
This year’s AGM will be held at the club on Sunday, 7th July at 6pm.
End of session
At the end of a playing session be sure to brush the table thoroughly. Without wishing to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs, brushing should start at the baulk end of the table, parallel to the sides and with the nap. Don’t forget to brush the tops of the cushions.
Enter details of the session and any additional payments in the register. Return the pot to the cupboard and make sure that everything is turned off.
The heaters
The two heaters in the room are fed by the coin-operated meter near the clock on the end wall. Ensure that the red switch is in the ‘on’ position and use the pound coin to feed the meter. When leaving the club remember to turn the red switch to ‘off’.
